It was time!!
Yeah, I know:
What the f*** was I thinking not to update my blog? Shame on you, Davo!
Anyways, I was looking for the perfect moment, and so, it seems this is it.
Today I woke up early, to get ready for a telephone job interview I was "supposed" to have today. The HR lady is located in Chile, while the position I'm applying for is located in Lima. For some reason, I didn't get the call, and the interview hasn't happened yet.
I was about to leave home, when I got another phone call. It was a guy from IPAE reminding me we met at a career fair I went to. They want me to apply for an Training research & development assistant position. Say, the R&D in the training field. Cool. I accepted, so I have another interview tomorrow, early in the morning.
Before that, what have I been up to?
I was working for a friend of mine. He runs an NGO in the field of human development, and he wanted to introduce a training product in the market. And who was asked to run a feasibility analysis? Me! so I was responsible for that consultancy. Didn't work out. I mean, the product was the end not released/produced, as I advised not to, and the experience was quite interesting :) Other than that, I had been teaching languages, and building a SME with some friends. Cool stuff.
Funny thing, I just realized: Vivi, would you like to become my manager? My good friend has always been on the look, supporting me in finding cool job opportunities! Talk about former employer accountability on employees development! She rocks!
Recently was my 26th birthday, on December the 6th :) Lots of fun. Had some close friends over for dinner & wine. Had a blast!! So much my lifestyle. All I was missing was the bossanova/jazz background music at the party ;)
And the best is yet to come. Today. I open my email and receive an AIESEC spam (yes, I'm officially an alert alumnus doing follow up on what's going on :)) and I find some cool info on what had been the National PD meeting of AIESEC in Colombia. Man, 2 thumbs up!!

Man! It felt so good to check out what was going on over there in Colombia. I left Colombia with a feeling that a great foundation legacy had been built, and I knew great things were to come along. I just didn't know how far they would go.
I'm so proud and happy of seeing so many people committed to driving into the fuure the dreams I had. I dreamt of an organization committed to breeding and instilling leaders. Committed to work, hand in hand, to driving PD initiatives into the next level. And recently, more than 22 people got together to decide upon the future of the organization and to agree on how to do it! And they achieved it!
Colombia, I'm really proud of you! So, this comes in Spanish :)

Now it's time to go back home :) Gotta prepare for my interview :)
Cheers, world out there, it's good to know you're spinning and thriving!
Davo!
On Xmas mood!
